Derry~Londonderry has been named the first ever UK City of Culture 2013 and this title is now the catalyst for the transformation and regeneration of Derry, with plans to invest more than £200 million in infrastructure and pursue World Heritage Status for the 17^th Century Walls. 

The accolade will establish Derry as a sought after conference destination providing visitors with a memorable experience thanks to the people, place and culture of this unique city.
