Alison Cutler is currently working in Pre-university Education Outreach for EMEA, responsible for educational events and programmes in the area of science, technology, engineering and maths.
Between June 2007 and September 2010 she worked as an Events Specialist in Google's Staffing Programmes Department with responsibility for large-scale events sponsorship and recruiting functions throughout Europe, focusing on the field of IT and in particular Software Engineering.
Between January and June 2007 Alison worked successfully as a freelance consultant focusing on the areas of Event Management, Course Development and European Project Management in the field of Education and Languages.
Until January 2007 she was working as Head of Conferences and Events at CILT, The National Centre for Languages, in London, UK. she is an experienced events and project manager with over 12 years experience of team development, strategic management and the design, implementation and review of national and European events and projects in the Education sector.
She has managed and delivered programmes of up to 180 events per year with 10 to 950 delegates: conferences, training workshops, courses and public relations events with a high media profile and public participation. Working in collaboration with the British Council and Embassies and Cultural Institutes in France, Germany, Spain and Italy she has designed and developed a programme of European funded overseas language and culture training courses for teachers.
