Dion Bassett has been in the congress industry for over 20 years and has accumulated a huge amount of experience and expertise as a congress organiser of international medical and academic meetings. Dion's role has included constant liaison with venues, exhibitors and contractors as well as project managing conferences ranging from 250 delegates to 17,000 delegates.
In 2004, Dion and two other partners Michael Foreman and Claire Joffe set up Confab Consulting which is now known as Kenes UK, having becoming part of the Kenes group in November, 2009. The Kenes Group is a leader in Professional Congress Organisation as well as Association Management Consulting (AMC) and is headquartered in Geneva, with subsidiaries in Munich, Hamburg, Berlin, Tel Aviv, Singapore and Santiago de Chile.
Dion is currently Operations Director of Kenes UK and her role here is to oversee logistics for all Kenes UK events.
