Position: Business Development Manager - Event Insurance
Company: Hiscox Insurance
Location: UK wide travel with one day per week in the Colchester office
Hiscox’s Event Insurance team is based in Colchester and underwrites cancellation, liability and property risks for a wide variety of events taking place throughout the world. These could range from large conferences and exhibitions to unique private events such as high net worth weddings.
As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving Event Insurance new business enquiries into the underwriting team, through relationships you develop. You will represent Hiscox externally within the Events industry, attending and occasionally speaking at industry conferences, exhibitions and networking events. You will manage our relationship with key industry associations and assist the Underwriting Manager in developing the sales skills of the underwriting team.
