Army Presentation Team
02 March 2009
The Army Presentation Team routinely tours the UK, giving presentations to a varied audience in the local community. The presentation itself lasts for around thirty minutes and includes an introduction and personal message from the Head of the Army General Sir Richard Dannatt. The aim of the presentation is not to recruit, but to inform the public on what the Army is doing, who the people are who make up the fabric of the Army, how we train and select them, our accountability to the tax payer, and to the people who serve in the Army. The presentation is followed by an honest and frank question and answer session. The aim of this session is for people to ask absolutely anything about the Army - nothing is off limits. The presentation is provided by two serving officers, and is in multimedia format which includes video and frontline footage from operations across the globe. We are completely self contained and can dove tail into most audio-visual set ups using our own equipment, in house equipment or a mixture of the two.
We have recently established a second team with the intention of focusing on the private and commercial sector. The presentation is not exhaustive, and may provide your customers who are organising events with an interesting selling point of diversity. There is no charge for the presentation. All bookings are of course subject to availability.
