ABPCO AGM 2022

Your invitation to attend ABPCO's 2022 AGM, 21st June - virtually.  Timings 9.30am - 11.00am

We actively encourage all members to join us.

We will cover the Governance, a review of 2021-2022, the financial situation and will also welcome the incoming chairs and executive and outline our priorities for the next year.

The format of the day will be as follows:

• Association update from the current chairs - Barbara and Michael
• Treasurer’s report – Martin
• Year in review (events, members, communications) – Barbara, Michael and Adam
• Farewells to current executive members
• Introductions to the new executive members and the new joint-Chairs
• Plans for the year ahead (constitution, task-forces, awards, collaborations) – the new chairs – Emma and Sarah
• Q&A – the executive

The minutes from last year are attached below, and the accounts for last year are available on request from Heather. The accounts for the year May 2021-April 2022 are with the accountant and will be presented at the AGM.

We are asking for opinions on a change to the constitution – specifically the 2 points mentioned below. The proposed changes can also be seen as tracked changes on this link, Please do consider these, and come along to the AGM to vote on them

6.5 – removal of this requirement as it doesn’t happen in reality
6.8 – allowing industry members to run for chair and clarification of co-chair make up (ie. Not having 2 of the same member type elected)
