ABPCO Chairmen's Lunch & Excellence Awards

We are delighted to invite you to the ABPCO Chairmen’s Lunch and Excellence Awards 10-11 December 2019
 
For those of you who have not been before you are in for a treat!  It is an interactive event, with presentations from each of the nominated finalists with peer judging on the day.  It really supports our values #excellence #learning #belonging and our desire to enable human enrichment through face to face gatherings.  As you probably know, the submissions for the voted awards are in, and the finalists are announced.   You have until the end of October to enter for a Chairmen’s Special Award, to enter for that please log-in to the web site and go to the area ‘submitting for excellence awards’

This year we are heading to Wales! Thank you to Danielle and Leon from ICC Wales for sponsoring our annual celebration event of the year. We can’t wait to see the new venue!

This hugely popular event will start on 10th December at 6.30pm with a welcome drink at The Mulberry Bar at the Celtic Manor Resort, there will then be lots of networking, a tapas feast and the opportunity to show off your ice-skating skills! (all first-timers to an ABPCO event will be invited to come along at 6.15pm to meet each other). Dress up warm – Christmas jumpers and casual clothes will be the order of the day. We will really be kicking off the festive season in style! The supper, the equivalent of half a bottle of wine and the ice-skating cost £40 pp – payable in advance.

ICC Wales have allocated us some lovely bedrooms at the Celtic Manor – use the code on the agenda page of the event to book these at the special rate which includes breakfast.

Wednesday 11th December
Relax after breakfast in the morning, and use the spa facilities on-site or take a stroll in the extensive grounds.

10am tour never been to the complex before? Join the ICC Wales team for an orientation tour of this impressive venue and associated properties. Meet in the lobby at the Celtic Manor.

11.45am Chairmen’s Lunch and the prestigious Excellence Awards. Meet in the lounge at the ICC Wales. The Excellence Awards are a fantastic opportunity to recognise and celebrate excellence, best practice and the best in our industry. We look forward to a lovely lunch, great wine, super company and of course the presentations from the finalists in each award category. Come along to network, learn, share best practice and celebrate the achievements of ABPCO members. Additional guest places can be booked at a charge of £75 per person.

3.15pm The event finishes for another year.

As you can see, we have planned an exciting couple of days and hope that you will join us for as much as possible. The deadline for booking is the 1st December, so get it in your diaries now, and let Heather know which elements you are attending, and whether you have any dietary requirements.
