Prioritising delegate value post COVID

You are invited to discuss how we organisers can more readily promote the value of face to face engagement and deliver a premium face to face delegate experience.

You are invited to a discussion on how we organisers can more readily promote the value of face to face engagement and deliver a premium face to face delegate experience post COVID.

Case Study:

The recent pilot events, part of the UK Government process for allowing organised events to run from 1st October were evaluated by DCMS (Department of Culture, Media and Sport). Although the industry benchmark, All Secure Standard ensures robust safety practices, for those attending as delegates, the experience highlighted the challenges of creating that all important value. With no badges and with the mandatory wearing of masks, it was difficult to recognise passing acquaintances or identify who to spend time with.  The ExCeL team will give some insight from a delegate perspective to help prepare for the group discussion.

Discussion:

As a group we will discuss how we, as meeting professionals, can support engagement and human connection at events, and facilitate networking and the exchange of ideas.

Your ideas will help our industry define and communicate the intrinsic value of meeting face to face. The discussion will be facilitated by our partner, ExCeL London and we will produce a paper of top tips from your input.

You are invited to a Zoom meeting.
When: Oct 7, 2020 10:30 AM London
