Step Change – the future of CSR at the EICC

Join the EICC for a look at their new Step Change initiative, a big-tent program that touches upon all aspects of the Edinburgh International Conference Centre's ESG commitments.

Step Change carries on the legacy of the EICC's previous program, Plan-it Green. Rather than starting anew, Step Change builds, expands, and improves upon its predecessor. It focuses on three main pillars which support all aspects of the centre's ESG commitments; transport, reporting, and carbon mitigation. All of this is amplified by the conference centre's revamped approach to green meetings and sustainability working groups. By working more collectively, and creating a more open space for ideas and suggestions to flourish, the conference centre has implemented some projects which all proved vital in it becoming the worlds first "Green Meetings" accredited venue

Attendees can hope to takeaway some top tips on how they might structure "green teams" in their SME, how important partnerships are in achieving a more sustainable future, how thinking outside of the box can lead to beneficial places for organisations and the planet, and how waterlogged bogs might well be the answer to some of our most difficult climate problems.
