Strategies for professional development

Join us for our roundtable event focused on creating strategies regarding professional development.

We will start the day with fire-talks and speed mentoring. for students who are interested in our sector.

Then following a light lunch we will welcome 2 guest speakers to share their expertise.  Lorraine Quinn is head of Marketing, Events, Tourism and Innovation at the University of the West of Scotland and a specialist in Human Resources Education.  The Neil  MacLeod from Glasgow Clyde College will present a project of a student junior organisation which could help to prepare students and feed them straight into event and conference organisers.

We will also share the latest findings from the Event Industry Board research.
