27th – 29th June 2018: The Meetings Show followed by the ABPCO AGM and Conference

We are delighted to offer a hosted buyer opportunity in conjunction with London and Partners.  We have a great dinner planned for our group from 7.30pm on the 27th June at Crowne Plaza London Kensington followed by breakfast from 8am on the 28th June at Pennethorne’s at Somerset House, part of Lime Venue Portfolio.

On the 28th June, in addition to your hosted buyer meetings, we are offering a PCO Social Media Workshop from 10am – 1pm in the Henley Suites – exclusive to 12 ABPCO PCO members.   Sharpen your tools, brush up on your technique and get your creative juices flowing! From concept to conclusion and strategy to sharing, this workshop is designed to develop your social media expertise. In this workshop, you will be guided by Miguel Neves, CMP (Head Chef at Social Media Chefs) on how to create your very own social media cookbook filled with tasty social media recipes that will help you create consistent social media content and engagement aligned with taste preferences of your clients.  This workshop includes:

  • Social media strategy co-creation
  • Up-to-date trends on the usage of social media globally
  • Channel-specific training
  • Hands-on content creation including photo and video
  • Overview of scheduling, analytical and auxiliary tools
  • Definition of KPIs that matter
  • Social media driven sponsorship opportunities

A very special dinner sponsored by VisitBerlin Berlin Convention Office at The Bluebird Café in Chelsea – a stunning evening is planned.  6pm – Join us for reception drinks on the terrace, followed by a private 3 course dinner and wine.
The generosity of VisitBerlin has enabled us to offer the delegate revenue from this event to Meeting Needs our nominated charity.
Please do come and join us for some great networking in an iconic location.

Join us from 9am for our annual catch up at  etc. venues County Hall.  After a very busy week and as part of the AGM, we are delighted to be welcoming Eventwell, the event industry’s social enterprise and resource for wellbeing, advice and knowledge support to join us.  They will be running sessions on stress management, mindfulness and general wellbeing.   Come along to the sessions and be kind to yourself!

We will be concluding with a networking lunch from 12.45pm, so that any of you who are running off to the Conference Awards can head off.  We are happy for those of you who aren’t in a rush to stay with us and spend some time networking and catching up.
