‘Central Chat’, Manchester Central’s brand new podcast channel launches this week.

The podcast will bring together experts from across the industry and further afield to discuss hot topics and trends in the world of events.

The first episode of Central Chat focuses on the theme of Event Technology and explores topics such as current and emerging trends, sustainability and ways in which venues, suppliers and event planners can keep up with constant change and development in an increasingly digital world.

Hosted by Digital Communications Executive, Samantha Pike-Devlin and featuring CEO Shaun Hinds, episode one includes conversations with industry experts Adam Parry, Editor of Event Industry News and Director of Event Tech Live and John Steele, Technical Director at Blitz | GES.

Shaun Hinds, CEO at Manchester Central, said:

“We are really excited to be the first major UK conference and events venue to launch a podcast, and to have the opportunity to share our ideas and views on our thriving industry.

“We see great engagement across our existing digital communication channels and the podcast is the next step in allowing us to initiate some thought-provoking discussions and, importantly, bring together some really interesting people to share their insights.

“Central Chat will focus on a range of topics through the lens of an events venue, episode one is out now, so if you haven’t already then make sure you take a listen.

“As ever, there is so much going on here at Manchester Central and we have got even more fantastic topics lined up for discussion going forward. So, subscribe and watch this space!”

Central Chat is supported by Blitz | GES, the venue’s on-site AV suppliers.
