Personal Statement

I am Operations Director at NUS and work on events alongside an Event Project Manager. We manage a range of events for NUS from democratic conferences, learning and development, exhibitions to Board meetings and awards evenings. NUS (National Union of Students) is a voluntary membership organisation which makes a real difference to the lives of students and its member students’ unions. We are a confederation of 600 students’ unions, amounting to more than 95 per cent of all higher and further education unions in the UK. Through our member students’ unions, we represent the interests of more than seven million students. NUS are always on the lookout for good accessible venues which provide excellent service to both event planners and delegates alike. Being involved in Student Unions gives us access to more and more Universities and Colleges which is great as it means we are giving back to the people that we represent
