As Event Manager I lead on the strategic creation and delivery of all the event plants to drive acquisition, engagement and retention. I manage the full annual progamme of events, ranging from sponsorships of third-party events to in-house events and major industry conventions. Our flagship event, National Freelancers Day, attracts 550 attendees looking to learn more about being a freelancer. The event is an exhibition, conference with side event fringe programme throughout the country. I have over 10 years experience in the events industry, all at not-for-profit trade associations or charities. My previous trade association experience was at RenewableUK where I led on the strategic development of internal and external events, including the flagship offshore wind exhibition and conference event which attracted up to 7000 attendees.
