        Personal Statement
With over 30 years’ experience as a professional conference organiser, I have dedicated my career to creating impactful events that connect people, ideas, and industries. A former Chair of the Association of British Conference Organisers and one of only a handful of Honorary Life Members, I remain deeply committed to the continued growth and professionalism of our sector. My focus has always been on building meaningful partnerships, fostering collaboration, and delivering events that inspire, educate, and drive long-term value for clients and delegates alike.
        Role & Skill Areas
With over three decades of experience in the conference and association sector, I specialise in supporting PCOs and associations to develop effective partnership and sponsorship strategies that deliver long-term, sustainable value. Having established the first dedicated Industry Department within a PCO, I bring unrivalled expertise in designing and implementing partnership frameworks for medical and scientific associations. My approach blends strategic insight with a deep understanding of both industry and association priorities ensuring that every collaboration is ethical, impactful, and aligned with the organisation’s mission and member needs.
I bring a unique combination of strategic, commercial, and relationship-building skills developed over 30 years in the conference and association sector. My expertise spans partnership and sponsorship strategy, stakeholder engagement, business development, event design, and programme innovation. I am skilled at aligning industry objectives with association values, creating partnership models that are ethical, sustainable, and mutually beneficial. With strong communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities, I excel in building trust, fostering collaboration, and turning strategic goals into measurable results.
Experience
With over 30 years of experience in the global meetings, conferences, and association sector, I have built a career at the intersection of strategy, partnerships, and commercial growth. I have held senior leadership positions across major PCOs and founded, built, and sold my own successful agency. I established the first dedicated Industry Department within a PCO and have since become recognised for developing high-impact partnership and sponsorship frameworks for leading medical and scientific associations. A former Chair and now Honorary Life Member of ABPCO, I have played an active role in shaping the professional standards of the UK conference industry, while continuing to advise international associations, destinations, and ESG organisations on sustainable growth and engagement strategies.
