Acting as an extension of our clients’ teams, we handle time-consuming administration and apply systematic project management practices, ensuring clients remain informed and in control through transparent reporting.

Role & Skill Areas
As Business Development Director I am responsible for increasing revenue and driving strategy by generating new leads, winning new business, increasing the client portfolio, growing relationships with existing partners and developing partnerships. This is delivered utilising my experience of sales, marketing and operations within the MICE industry gained from 26 years within venues, working with a range of clients on events from 50-5,000.

With over 26 years’ experience in the events sector, I bring a wealth of knowledge, connections, and proven expertise. I am passionate about giving back to the industry that has shaped my career. My career has spanned three core leadership roles—Conference Services Manager at the University of South Wales, Association Sales Manager at ICC Wales, and Business Development Director at MICE Concierge—each shaping my expertise in PCO services, events strategy, stakeholder engagement, sales, and event delivery.
Highlights include:
• Leading commercial strategy at the University of South Wales, managing a £1.7m+ budget and overseeing large-scale events for up to 1,600 delegates, alongside pioneering initiatives such as the “Conference Champions” programme.
• Delivering major events at ICC Wales, from ABPCO roundtables and masterclasses to international conferences worth millions in revenue.
• Driving new business development at MICE Concierge, leveraging strategic partnerships, securing high-value contracts, and maintaining a strong pipeline of opportunities.
I thrive in leadership and advocacy roles—previously serving as a Board Member and Taskforce Chair with ABPCO, chairing and speaking at national events, and representing Wales at international forums in Barcelona, Frankfurt, Krakow, and Washington. My work consistently aligns with broader strategic priorities including sustainability, EDI, innovation, and social impact, all of which I believe are vital to the future of our industry.
