On behalf of Simon, Michael and myself can I thank you all for a hugely successful conference from the bid for conference, the planning, the programme, the total can do attention to detail.
José, who is from Gran Canaria admitted that the Belfast was the best in his memory?
We did Belfast, EAFP, and AFBI proud as this conference will last in delegates memories for all the right reasons.
See you for wrap up meeting but well done and sincere thanks.

"Thank you again for putting on this marvellous event. I meant what I said on Wednesday night: the smooth running was entirely down to you and all the Happening team. It also seemed like you were all having fun, which is great. Everyone enjoyed the conference, Irish science got a great boost and we're looking forward to building on this for years to come. "Re: Anne Doherty - Happening
I am a Consultant Paediatric Oncologist at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and Honorary Professor in the Institute of Translational Medicine, University of Liverpool.
I am writing to express my deepest admiration for Happening as a conference organising firm and, in particular, Anne Doherty, Managing Director. I first met Anne as a member of the Local Organising Committee for the International Society for Pediatric Neurosurgery in 2007 that was remembered as one of the great ISPN meetings. It was clear right from the beginning that in Anne and her team that we were dealing with a highly professional group of individuals. Their organisation of the ISPN meeting was flawless both with respect to the scientific aspects of the meeting, but also its social and networking components.
My particular interest is in brain tumours in children and young people and Liverpool have won a competitive bid to host the world congress in this field, namely the International Symposium on Paediatric Neuro Oncology (ISPNO) 2016. In planning for the bid I immediately thought of Anne and she and her team put together a magnificent bid document and spent many hours getting the brochure right in terms of its presentation content and in particular a provisional budget for the meeting. The ISPNO board were extremely impressed by the document and thus we won the bid to host the meeting for which I am Chair of the LOC.
Of course, I had no hesitation in choosing Happening as our Conference organisers. Anne and her team have done magnificent work for the ISPNO meeting. All my colleagues around the world in the field of paediatric neuro oncology were extremely impressed by her organisational skills and the fact that we were so far ahead of the curve when it comes to preparation of our meeting.
I cannot praise Anne highly enough with respect with to her professionalism. She and her team are extremely pleasant individuals and very easy to work with. She engages extremely well with potential sponsors such that we attracted more than sufficient sponsorship for our meeting.
In summary, I have no hesitation in recommending Anne Doherty and Happening as a conference organising team.
With very best wishes
