I graduated with a First Class degree in Event Management in 2014 from Sheffield Hallam University, which included a year working at Disney World Florida. This opportunity gave me a wealth of knowledge and experience of how to provide the highest levels of customer service. Having finished my degree with a keen interest in working within the business events sector, I joined my first membership organisation as the Conference Administrator. I am now working at my third membership organisation having worked myself up from two roles as an Events Coordinator to now being the Learning and Events Manager at the BAcC. I have experience of working with committees to deliver small scale conferences to working in a national team running large scale conferences, lectures, gala dinners and award ceremonies. Due to the pandemic, I was forced to upskill very quickly and have since hosted online conferences and award ceremonies, as well as many webinars.
