With over 20 years’ experience working at ExCeL, with a specific focus on the associations market, I have built up a considerable understanding of the challenges and expectations of both association boards and PCOs. Adapting and enhancing the ExCeL proposition in these ever changing times is essential to building long-term collaborative relationships as we define and executing the venue’s associations strategy. Part of my role is to work closely with our executive team on the overall company strategy.
I have been a member of the ICCA UK & Ireland Chapter Committee for 3 years; my role has involved helping recruit new members, working on the programme for the annual conferences, managing the sponsorship relationship with Levy UK, presenting updates at Chapter meetings and identifying new ways of engaging the membership.
I am passionate about the industry, and ABPCO’s role representing key stakeholders. It is important that not only members benefit from joining the association but that supplier partners get the most out of their partnership as well.
