Sue has over 25 years of experience, specialising in the professional associations sector, running events teams, covering engineering, business, marketing and arbitration. She has vast international experience having organised events in Europe, Scandinavia, China, Africa and the Caspian. Sue was also responsible for delivering the largest oil exploration and production conference in Europe, held biennially in Aberdeen with an attendance of 35,000. At Outsourced Events, Sue is Director of the Associatons Division running events across a number of sectors including health, eduction and science. In her spare time, Sue enjoys travel, films and socialising.

"Chief Executive - British Neuroscience Association They say, “Do what you love, and you’ll never work another day in your life”, which must explain why working with OE to deliver BNA2021 felt less like a work project, and more like a getting together with friends to combine forces, share goals, overcome challenges, celebrate successes, and thoroughly enjoy the process along the way. That’s not to say that doing what you love doesn’t simultaneously involve a lot of hard work too. Along with many others, the BNA’s buzzwords of 2020 included uncertainty, anxiety and constantly moving goalposts. Throughout it all the OE team barely batted an eyelid, as we changed from in-person to socially-distanced to 100% online, but instead rolled up their sleeves and worked alongside us to make it happen. All the OE staff were committed, professional, thorough, and always cognisant of the BNA membership’s particular needs. It was genuinely like having an extension of the BNA’s own team, but with the added wealth of talent and experience brought by OE. As always, the most important outcome of an event is how it is received by its audience. BNA2021 was received overwhelmingly positively by delegates, sponsors, supporters, and speakers too, frequently with praise for the organisation as much as the content. Maintaining good relations with all our stakeholders like this is incredibly important for the BNA. "Corporate Events Manager - Royal College of Occupational Therapists The Royal College of Occupational Therapists worked with Outsourced Events as our conference secretariat for the first time this year, and have been very impressed with their professionalism and efficiency. We are the UK professional body for occupational therapists with over 31,000 members, and we organise a highly complex annual conference, with around 150 sessions and 12 parallel streams involving over 570 abstracts being submitted. This year saw many new changes to our conference format, as well as having our largest ever number of delegates (c.1500) so I was somewhat nervous about also working with a new PCO – but Outsourced Events were straight away a perfect fit, and I quickly felt that we were working as a team, and that I had their full support and experience. The Outsourced Events team are responsible for many aspects of our conference, including abstract management, delegate and conference management, exhibition and exhibitor logistics and management, and the multitude of tasks that are required in the run up to, and during the event to ensure our annual conference is successful. This includes delegate bookings (including online real-time reports), accommodation, catering, conference social events and other “special” sessions that take place within our conference. They maintain our conference budget, providing regular reports, and have been quick to bring any potential issues to our attention – it’s really helped having their Finance Director (a Chartered Accountant) working with us on this. I would have no hesitation in recommending Outsourced Events. They are professional, customer focussed – both to us and our members, and highly experienced in running conferences and exhibitions – nothing is ever too much trouble.
