Airmic is among events that have recently confirmed, signing a four year deal over the next 12 years taking its congress to 2031.  It has held its conference at the venue three times previously, attracting 1700 attendees each time.

Susi Ozkurt, Airmic events manager, said: “We have already held four successful conferences at ACC Liverpool so we are confident that our future events will be just as outstanding.

“In particular we appreciate the venue’s easily accessible location, how much Liverpool has to offer our delegates and the support we receive from the ACC Liverpool and city teams which ensures the smooth delivery of our events.”

Meanwhile British Equine Veterinary Association (BEVA) has signed a two year deal for 2022 and 2024, also returning after four conferences at the waterfront venue and bringing 1100 delegates to each event.

ELRIG’s Drug Discovery and Infection Prevention Society will return for the third time this year and again in 2021 while the Royal College of GPs also takes place this year and will return in 2021, for the third time.  Other events to return for a third time include the ADHD Foundation Conference for Professionals which returns this year and also took place in 2014 and 2015.

Adrian Evans, ACC Liverpool’s assistant director – conference and exhibitions, said: “We are pleased that many conferences have chosen to return to ACC Liverpool and to sign multi-year deals so far into the future.

“This speaks volumes about event organisers’ confidence in us and in the city that we will continue to deliver successful events for their delegates.  These congresses alone will attract tens of thousands of national and international delegates and highlights our continued reputation as a global conference city.”

The Independent Association of Prep Schools (IAPS) will return for a second time in 2020.

Recent confirmations for conferences coming to ACC Liverpool for the first time include the Association for the Study of Medical Education in July 2020.  Jennifer Hallam, ASME director of events, added: “We are delighted that we are bringing our annual ASME conference to ACC Liverpool in 2020.

“The conference will host over 500 delegates and we are excited to welcome them to the vibrant city of Liverpool. The facilities at ACC Liverpool will offer our delegates a fantastic experience and we look forward to an outstanding conference.”
