Nexus Collections has taken on Andy Batten as Business Development Manager to help the company develop and grow through 2021.

Andy’s role will focus on the development of relationships across the industry – particularly in the association and meetings market where he has extensive experience.

“We are already seeing significant growth in interest for the latter half of 2021,” comments Howard Lawton, Managing Director of Nexus Collections. “Throughout the pandemic we have expanded our range of conference bags and promotional items to include a wide range of home deliverable goods capable of supporting digital and hybrid meetings. We expect these new products to be a key part of our offering going forward but the speedy vaccination process here in the UK has led to a renewed optimism in the market for events later in 2021. Andy comes with extensive industry experience and contacts, when combined with his ability to develop relationships he was the perfect choice for this exciting new role.”

Andy joins Nexus Collections from Northstar Media Group where he worked on The Meetings Show team in a sales and business development role for four years.

Commenting on his new role, Andy Batten said: “This is a great opportunity for me and I look forward to seeing Nexus continue its growth over the next 12 to 18 months. In addition to our new products, I am also particularly keen to support Nexus’ focus on sustainability, which is central to all our business planning and product development.”
