  • Location: Home office & Hinckley office (2–3 days/week in client meetings) 
  • Reporting to: Head of Account Management and Sales Director 
  • Working pattern: 5 days/week; additional hours may be required to meet business needs 

Role Purpose: 

  • Proactively manage a portfolio of existing customers 
  • Develop accounts with significant growth potential 
  • Achieve targeted financial sales performance for allocated accounts 
  • Produce Account Development Plans for high-value and growth-forecast customers 
  • Promote the full range of company services 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Engage with customers through face-to-face and virtual meetings, site visits, client events, webinars, and networking opportunities (target: 6 appointments/week, including site visits) 
  • Organize at least 3 after-hours client events per year 
  • Use sales research tools to identify new contacts and infiltrate accounts 
  • Record all customer engagement activities in the CRM database 
  • Prepare customer reviews with actionable insights for future buying strategies 
  • Develop Account Development Plans with client-specific objectives to maximize service use and account growth 

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels to demonstrate the value of Conference Care’s services 

Performance Measurement: 

  • Achievement of set sales targets 
  • Quality and effectiveness of Account Development Plans 
  • CRM reporting, participation in sales meetings 
  • KPI results 
  • Effective use of the Sales Toolkit 

Work Environment:

  • Combination of home and office-based work 
  • Regular client meetings (2–3 days/week) 
  • Flexibility for additional hours as required 

Required Skills and Experience: 

  • Proven experience in account management, sales, or business development, ideally within events, hospitality, or related sectors 
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills at all levels 
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, both in-person and virtually 
  • Ability to organize and deliver client events, meetings, and site visits 
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales research tools 
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to prepare account development plans and customer reviews 
  • Results-driven, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work additional hours and travel for client meetings/events as required
