My role is Head of Business Events at Visit West Convention Bureau which supports event planners bringing conferences, meetings, events and incentive programmes to the Bristol, Bath and West of England region. We offer unbiased support and advice and also a whole range of complimentary services including; -Venue finding. We create a multi-venue event proposal outlining available venues and price points. -Group accommodation finding service. We negotiate rates, secure bedroom allocations and create a bespoke web page for delegates to book their accommodation. -Arrangement of venue and destination familiarisation visits. -Sourcing conference partner organisations and suppliers. - Travel advice including preferred delegate fares on the Great Western Railway (GWR) network. -Suggesting social/partner programmes. -Supplying destination information, images and local maps. -Support in developing and/or delivering a legacy for your event.
