About Elevate NewGen
Elevate NewGen aims to create a more inclusive and representative events industry by unlocking pathways for underrepresented and marginalised young people aged 18 to 25, particularly those from racially diverse and lower socio-economic backgrounds, to access mentorship, develop skills and gain real industry exposure. The NewGen programme offers coaching, mentoring, work experience, training and community baked into a three month programme. 

The purpose of Elevate NewGen
The events industry lacks diversity and accessible entry points for young talent from underrepresented communities. Many face systemic barriers, especially those from racially diverse or lower socio-economic backgrounds, including limited networks, insider knowledge or relevant experience. Elevate NewGen was founded to bridge this gap by offering mentorship, guidance and tangible career opportunities to those who are too often excluded.
