A driven events professional with a strong background in the association sector. I’m passionate about delivering engaging, high-quality events and continuously developing my expertise within the industry.

Role & Skill Areas

I work within a small, dynamic team delivering around 60 events per year, ranging from large conferences with 1,000 attendees to smaller events for 200. My role encompasses in-person, webinar, and hybrid events, overseeing all aspects from planning to execution. I am IOSH qualified and conduct risk assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards while continuously keeping up to date with best practice. Key responsibilities include: Managing on-site creche facilities for up to 100 children. Administration and training for event management software (Cvent). Budget management and cost control. Designing and building exhibition spaces Venue Sourcing Conducting post-event evaluation for continuous improvement. Leading onsite teams to ensure seamless event delivery.

Event planning and delivery for conferences, seminars, exhibitions, and virtual events. Strategic event management Stakeholder engagement and relationship building. Budget management and resource allocation. Risk assessing and problem-solving. Mentoring and professional development of team members. Strong communication, interpersonal, and cultural awareness skills. Championing equality, diversity, and inclusion.
