I’ve worked in the event industry for not-for-profit organisations and membership bodies for the last 25 years and am responsible for the strategy and development of the events activities at the Stroke Association.
I currently manage a team of seven event professionals who deliver a range of activities for stroke survivors, clinicians, AHPs and . We deliver face to face conferences, workshops, fundraising, legacy and high value supporter events.
The annual conference is a key area of responsibility, one which has doubled in size in the past 3 years. Attracting over 2000 delegates a year, this 3-day flagship event offers lectures, workshops, social activities, networking and an industry exhibition.
Outside of my role at the College I provide artist liaison services for various festivals and live events, am co-chair of my son’s PTA and am undertaking a coaching and mentoring qualification.
