For the past 30 years I have been involved in managing, developing & directing events from half day seminars to multi day international conferences for 7,000+. Passionate about the events industry and the benefits it offers our clients, their audience and the wider economy, my personal goal is to ensure every attendee feels it has been developed just for them.

Martin Jack, Managing Director

A highly experienced event director who for the past thirty years has been involved in managing, developing and directing a range of conferences, events and training programmes from half day seminars for 10 people to two-day international conferences for over 7,000. Between 2000 and 2006 he was instrumental in the development, direction and management of SETT, The Scottish Learning Festival. In 2000 the event attracted 1,200 people to a one-day event attached to the Fusion conference. It evolved and grew to an audience of over 7,500 by 2006 and continues to be key of the main education conferences in Scotland.

Since establishing Think Different Events Ltd. in 2006 he has directed high quality events for a number of clients including, Glasgow City Council, Scottish Enterprise, the Scottish Government, NHS Scotland, the Home Office and other law enforcement agencies across the UK and a number of commercial clients. For several of the key strategic conference, this has often included appearances by Government Ministers, internationally renowned speakers and delivered through discussion-based workshops which required a reporting structure post the event.

Martin regularly delivers talks about the industry for university students, professional bodies and others involved in the business tourism sector.
