I have worked for the Glasgow Convention Bureau (GCB) for almost fifteen years and am responsible for the UK market. This involves overseeing both the UK sales and client services functions within the GCB. My main objectives are to attract UK Association conferences to the city and to ensure that we support our clients to the best of our ability when they are hosting conferences in Glasgow. This involves reviewing research, compiling bid documents, conducting presentations, hosting site visits, identifying market trends, and representing the GCB at industry events. I place a lot of emphasis on establishing and developing positive working relationships with clients and stakeholders to generate productive partnerships as I believe this is fundamental to achieving and sharing success.
