Member Profile

AoC Create is a subsidiary of the Association of Colleges, which is the national body representing and advocating for further education colleges. Working as part of the Association of Colleges, we support all colleges to be great colleges by delivering high quality and cost-effective further education events, training and development, executive recruitment, interim management and strategic consultancy services.

I have worked for AoC Create since 2006, starting out as a Conference Executive. I now lead both the Events and Sponsorship teams ensuring we deliver high quality, relevant events for our members. We deliver a portfolio of national events on a range of further education policy topics. Events vary from small one-day discussion-based conferences to our flagship Annual Conference which attracts over 1,200 attendees. I am responsible for both the strategic development and the operational management of this part of the business from putting together the overall profile of events and sponsorship sales targets, financial management, event viability and innovation to staff development and delivering events on occasion.

In my spare time, I’m a founding trustee of FOP Friends, a small national charity dedicated to raising awareness and research funds to find a cure for the rare and debilitating genetic disease, Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva (FOP).
