You’re Not on Your Own!

The ABPCO In-House PCO Interest Group met for the first time at the end of August, bringing together members who deliver conferences and events within their own organisations. Our group is built around three core pillars:

• Knowledge sharing – openly exchanging ideas, tips and best practice.
• Learning something new – hearing how others approach common challenges and gaining fresh perspectives.
• Problem solving together – using the group as a sounding board when issues arise, ensuring no one feels they are facing challenges in isolation.

Future meetings will explore topics such as exhibition engagement, venue contracting, and practical ways to strengthen the impact of in-house event teams. Members agreed to meet every two months to keep momentum and ensure regular, supportive conversation.

The clear message from the first meeting was simple: you are not on your own.
