Lime Venue Portfolio to Launch Big Event Food Survey
Major new food insight goes live at International Confex
17 February 2026
Lime Venue Portfolio is set to shine a spotlight on one of the most important and powerful elements of the event experience next week, with the launch of its latest industry research, The Big Event Food Survey, at International Confex.
Following on from its original research in 2019, Lime Venue Portfolio will be sharing new insight, new ideas and a fresh perspective on how food continues to shape the way events are experienced, remembered and evaluated.
The new survey builds on six years of long-term thinking around food, experience and sustainability, and will explore how changing delegate expectations, cultural shifts and social values are influencing the way event planners approach menus, formats and catering strategies.
Jo Austin, Sales Director at Lime Venue Portfolio, said: “We’re genuinely excited to be launching the findings next week. Food has absolutely been one of the most powerful tools event planners have, but the way we think about it has evolved. With this latest research, we can step back and look at what’s really changing.”
As part of the launch, Lime Venue Portfolio will also be hosting a dedicated roundtable session at Confex, bringing together meetings and events planners for a live workshop designed to explore the findings in more depth. The session will focus on turning insight into action and look at ways planners, venues and brands can use the data to improve experience, sustainability and delegate engagement across their own events.
Jenner Carter, Head of Marketing at Lime Venue Portfolio, added: “We’ve always seen ourselves as cheerleaders for great events. Our role isn’t just to produce research, but to create space for conversation, reflection and shared learning. The roundtables are about picking apart the findings together, asking questions, and exploring practical ideas that planners can take straight back into their own work.”
The roundtable session will take place as part of the launch of The Big Event Food Survey, 25th February, at Confex.
