New Co-Chairs at ABPCO

ABPCO has welcomed Karen Edwards and Jessica Letters as its new co-chairs. 

Karen is Senior Events Specialist at Bright Events and Jessica is Head of Events at the Royal College of Psychiatrists.   The duo will serve a two-year term as ABPCO co-chairs. Their appointment was confirmed at the Association’s Annual General Meeting on 11 June. 

ABPCO reported continued membership growth,  record revenues and improved attendance and feedback from its flagship events at the AGM.   The meeting also highlighted the Association’s growing range of training, member groups and partnerships.  

Jessica said: “I’m really excited about the opportunity.  I’ve seen first-hand about how much amazing work is undertaken by ABPCO members and I’m keen for us to continue to support our groups and members.” 

Karen said: “I love what ABPCO does and the membership is so friendly, welcoming, energetic and positive.  I can’t wait to get started.”  

Karen and Jessica succeed Pauline Beattie and Sammy Connell as ABPCO co-chairs. 

Matt Stalker, Executive Director at ABPCO said: “It’s an exciting time to be part of ABPCO.  We’re a growing organisation with more members and an expanding programme of CPD and support services for our community.  I’m looking forward to working with Jessica and Karen as ABPCO enters the next phase of its development.”
