ACC LIVERPOOL INCREASES VENUE FLEXIBILITY

The installation in M&S Bank Arena, part of the event campus, will provide a wider range of easily configurable layout options with the use of up-stage blacks, straight line drapes and the ability to mask all, or parts of, the upper-tiered seating as well as dividing the arena in two.
It will create different formats within the venue such as plenaries and separate areas suitable for exhibitions or dinners. The new layout options include tiered seating available for 600 to 3,000 delegates, banqueting from 500 to 1400 guests and cabaret meeting space for 350 up to 1,140.
Adrian Evans, assistant director - conference and exhibition sales - said: "We are pleased to have invested in this incredible new system which has a number of capabilities. An upper drape track masks all the upper tiers of the arena which creates a more intimate feel for conferences with a plenary, an exhibition, a banquet or an experiential element for example.
"The second part of the system is a tracking drape line that divides the space into two separate areas, running up and down the arena floor to enable a variety of different configurations so we are not restricted to one location. We can position this wherever it is required and we can deal with any changes smoothly and efficiently.
"While we have always been able to provide flexibility, the new system is a much quicker and cost effective way of creating a number of layout options.
"We are pleased to be able to give our clients more versatility and the new system also means that conference organisers have more opportunity to expand their events, for example if they want to create a larger plenary."
ACC Liverpool has held a number of conferences in the arena including the Royal College of Nursing, NHS Confederation and BBC Studios Showcase which has taken place for the past eight years, transforming the arena for spectacular dinners.
